Materials Needed:
4" x 5" Piece of Polyester Lace
4" x 5" Piece of Sticky Paper
8" x 10" Piece of Purple Matte Board
Glass Glitter: #600 Indian Summer, #612 Golden Glow
Microfine Glitter: #502 Diva Gold, #507 Black Wing
Rose Copper Detail Embossing Powder
Designer Dries Clear Adhesive
Ultrafine Metal Tip
4" Strip of Beaded Embellishment
Heat Tool
Frame Stamp (We Used One from Stamp Francisco)
Old Photo (Recommend Photocopy)
Scissors and Cutting Knife.
Empty each jar of glitter into it's own tray or work with creased paper under jar so excess glitter can be caught and poured back into jar.
Directions:
- Make glitter lace paper by removing the backing from Sticky Paper. Press lace with the flat of fingers firmly, making sure all the lace is stuck to the surface of paper. Coat the surface with #502 Black Wing Microfine Glitter. Carefully remove lace and flood sticky surface with #502 Diva Gold.
- Cut a 4" x 5" piece of mat. Blacken edges with permanent marker.
- Glue a strip of beaded embellishment onto the short end of board with Designer Dries Clear Adhesive.
- Glue glitter lace paper onto board over strip of beads. Allow to dry 10 minutes.
- Add Black Wing glitter dots 1/4" apart around edge of glitter lace board. Add Diva Gold glitter dots in between black wing dots.
- Emboss an intricate frame stamp onto a piece of purple board using Rose Copper Detail Embossing Powder.
- Enhance the detail of the embossed image using DDC adhesive and #612 Golden Glow Fine Vintage Glass Glitter as your first color. Next, use #600 Indian Summer Glass Glitter for contrast. Let dry. Cut photo to a size that fits inside the frame, leaving a border of purple showing.
- Glue on photo. Allow 10 minutes to dry. Close cut around frame and blacken edges of frame with a permanent marker.
- Center and glue finished frame onto the lace back board. Dry thoroughly.
